Type O Negative – amerykański zespół rockowo-metalowy grający muzyką określaną jako gothic rock. Powstał w 1990 roku w Nowym Jorku. Przestała istnieć w 2010 po niespodziewanej śmierci lider Petera Steele’a. „Bloody Kisses” to trzecia studyjna płyta grupy Type O Negative grającej gotycką odmianę rocka. To ostatni album w oryginalnym składzie i brzmieniu, płyta na wyjątkowo wysokim poziomie. „Bloody Kisses” zaczyna się od dwóch najbardziej znanych utworów grupy, „Christian Woman” i „Black nr 1”. Te utwory są rozpoznawalne na swój własny sposób, zawierają to wszystko co czyni ten zespół tak wyjątkowym i oryginalnym.
