Continuing her inspiring series of discs exploring the solo piano repertory of the Polish Romantic, Xaver Scharwenka, Seta Tanyel here turns her attention to two of his four piano concertos. These unashamedly appealing works should by no means be judged by their relative unfamiliarty; they are among the most impressive of all the neglected concertos championed in our series, as Stephen Hough’s Gramophone Award winning recording of the 4th concerto (CDA66790) has shown. In the capable hands of Tanyel, the 2nd and 3rd concertos are rich with the harmonic poise of Schumann, the melodic coquettishness of Chopin and even the passion of Rachmaninov; a disc as enlightening as it is thrilling. Although previously issued on Collins Classics, this recording was one of the last issued before the demise of the label, and did not therefore benefit from a wide circulation. We are delighted to reissue it in our Romantic Piano Concerto series where it will surely gain the recognition it deserves.

"Aenima" - wydany w 1996 album zespołu Tool. Album był poświęcony zmarłemu Billowi Hicksowi.
W 2011 roku mija 40 lat od powstania niemieckiego zespołu Passport, który był - i jest do dziś - odpowiedzią na dokonania amerykańskich mistrzów fusion pokroju Weather Report. Pięciopłytowy jubileuszowy box przybliża dorobek grupy z jej najlepszych lat. Zespół to tak naprawdę berliński saksofonista, klawiszowiec i kompozytor Klaus Doldinger, który pod szyldem Passport gromadził różnych muzyków. Przez jakiś czas był wśród nich nawet Udo Lindenberg, późniejsza wielka gwiazda niemieckiego popu i rocka. Zbiór zdominowały płyty z lat 70., kiedy Passport osiągnął największą popularność i zaistniał również w USA. W kartonie znalazły się: wydane w 1973 roku "Hand Made" i "Looking Thru", dzięki tej drugiej o zespole zaczęto głośniej mówić w amerykańskim światku jazzowym, "Cross Collateral" z 1975 roku, który namieszał zarówno na scenie jazzowej, jak i progresywno rockowej, zawierający również elementy funku. Ten krążek dał Passport silną pozycję i zasłużone pochwały w USA. Box uzupełnia jedna pozycja z lat 70., udany krążek "Infinity Machine" (1976) oraz wydany w 1988 roku kompilacyjny "Uranus".
