Niemal trzy lata od ukazania się debiutanckiej płyty "If You Leave", Daughter - londyńskie trio, tworzone przez wokalistkę i gitarzystkę Elenę Tonra, gitarzystę i producenta Igora Haefeli oraz perkusistę Remiego Aguilella - wrócili z płytą zatytułowaną "Not To Disappear". Album wyprodukowany przez Haefeli`ego i Nicolasa Vernhesa (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, The War On Drugs) ukazuje ciekawą ewolucję Daughter. Nagrany w Nowym Jorku, w mieszczącym się na Greenpoincie studiu Rare Book Room należącym do Vernhesa, przynosi niezwykle zawiłą dynamicznie muzykę, gdzie delikatny głos Tonry, brzmi niezwykle mocno, a gęste partie gitar Haefeli`ego charakteryzuje niezwykła melodyjność, podbudowana napędzającymi wszystko partiami perkusji Aguilelli. Przy tym głębokie brzmienie płyty wydaje się dużo bogatsze, niż cokolwiek co zrobili do tej pory. "Wiele tych utworów zaczęło się od indywidualnych pomysłów" - mówi Tonra.

For his studies Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755), concertmaster at Dresden, compiled a large and precious collection of scores of his own and of other instrumental works. Since around 1760 it is part of the Hofkirche library, and where it has been kept in a cupboard marked Schranck II (cupboard II). There it stayed more or less neglected (inspite of the fact that it contained unique scores by Vivaldi, Telemann, Heinichen and Fasch) until in the 1960s musicologists started to review it. After their recording of oboe concertos (ACC 24202) the Batzdorfer Hofkapelle is now presenting a fine selection with chamber music taken from Schranck II.
