Przez ponad 14 wieków, muzyka ta miała na celu szerzenie pokoju, pocieszenia i łagodzenia. Melodia ma za zadanie otworzyć ludzkie serca i dusze, zbliżając nas poprzez muzykę do Boga. Autentyczne nagranie chóru klasztor Benedyktynów z Saint-Benoit-du-Lac, założonego w 1912 roku, specjalizującego się w tradyjnym śpiewie solesmes.
