MU to najnowszy projekt songwritera Tymona Tymańskiego i producenta Marcina Gałązki, założony wspólnie z młodymi liderami trójmiejskiej sceny DRA (nowej trójmiejskiej sceny okołojazzowej). Oprócz Tymańskiego i Gałązki w formacji MU znaleźli się pianista i wokalista Szymon Burnos (Algorytm, Tomasz Chyła Quintet), saksofonista Michał Jan Ciesielski (Quantum Trio, Inner Out) oraz perkusista Jacek Prościński (Reni Jusis, Lasy). Muzyka kwintetu operuje bardzo szeroką i zróżnicowaną gamą międzygatunkową, naturalnie przechodząc od synthpopowych ballad i wpadających w ucho piosenek w klimacie postrocka, poprzez trudniejsze utwory w stylistyce avant rocka, modern jazzu i free improv, do złożonych, instrumentalnych form, wzbogaconych współczesną, eksperymentalną elektroniką. Na debiutanckiej płycie MU znalazło się dziesięć utworów, które Tymański napisał specjalnie z myślą o tym, międzypokoleniowym projekcie. Osiem z nich zaśpiewał lider, dwa (synthpopowy "Remedy" oraz balladę "Free Fall") - wykonał pianista Szymon Burnos.
Trzeci studyjny album Living Colour - "Stain" został nagrany w składzie : Corey Glover (vocals); Vernon Reid (guitar, guitar synthesizer); Doug Wimbish (bass); Will Calhoun (drums, percussion). Dodatkowo zagrali : Andrew Fairley (vocals); Bernard Fowler (background vocals); Vincent Gutman, Scott Pittinsky (programming). Living Colour - grupa afroamerykańskich muzyków, powstała w 1984 r. w Nowym Jorku, grająca trudną do zaklasyfikowania mieszankę heavy metalu, rocka, free jazzu, funky, hip-hopu i innych stylów - określaną nieraz jako crossover. Krytycy określają grupę jako kultową grającą Black Metal w prawdziwym znaczeniu tego słowa.
