Sony Music / Legacy Recordings z dumą zapowiadają premierę unikalnego albumu, na którym znalazło się szesnaście nowych piosenek skomponowanych przez współczesne gwiazdy muzyki na podstawie poezji legendarnego Johnny’ego Casha. Johnny Cash i June Carter Cash pozostawili po sobie to, co ich syn John Carter Cash opisuje, jako "potworne zgromadzenie" rzeczy, w tym skarbnicę nieznanych i do tej pory nieodkrytych listów, wierszy i dokumentów stworzonych przez Casha w czasie całego życia. Producenci John Carter Cash i Steve Berkowitz zaprosili gwiazdorską obsadę muzyków do stworzenia nowych utworów na podstawie ujawnionej po raz pierwszy poezji Casha. Album "Johnny Cash: Forever Words" to muzyczne dopełnienie bestsellerowej książki "Forever Words: The Unknown Poems", tomu niepublikowanych wcześniej poezji Casha wydanego przez laureata Nagrody Pulitzera Paula Muldoona. Przy wydawnictwie tym współpracowali również John Carter Cash oraz Steve Berkowitz. Część piosenek z płyty Johnny Cash: Forever Words to bezpośrednie inspiracje materiałami z tej książki. Kilka nagrań powstało na podstawie niepublikowanych nigdzie zapisków artysty. Utwór "Forever / I Still Miss Someone" otwierający album to dzieło przyjaciół artysty - Krisa Kristoffersona recytującego ostatni napisany przez Casha wiersz i akompaniującego na gitarze Willy’ego Nelsona. Piosenka "To June This Morning", która wykonują Ruston Kelly i Kacey Musgraves powstała na podstawie listu napisanego przez Casha do swojej żony. Dwadzieścia jeden lat po tym, jak Johnny Cash nagrał cover utworu "Rusty Cage" grupy Soundgarden jej lider Chris Cornell na podstawie poezji Casha przygotował utwór "You Never Knew My Mind" – jedną z ostatnich swoich solowych piosenek. Na albumie usłyszymy również utwór "The Walking Wounded" zaśpiewany przez najstarszą córkę artysty, Rosanne Cash. - "Wybór artysty dla każdej z tych piosenek to była sprawa serca” - powiedział John Carter Cash. - "Wybrałem artystów, którzy są najbardziej związani z moim ojcem, których osobista historia była związana z tatą. Po Bremen/Lausanne, po Koncercie kolońskim, po wspaniałych Sun Bear Concerts, to kolejny, inny niż wszystkie pozostałe krok w historii koncertów Keitha Jarretta na żywo. Dwa improwizowane koncerty, które odbyły się w 1981 roku w Austrii i Niemczech, zarejestrowane zostały odpowiednio w Festspielhaus Bregenz i Herkulessaal Munich, salach cechujących się wyśmienitą akustyką.  „A Night at The Opera” swój tytuł zawdzięcza jednemu z filmów braci Marx („Noc w operze” (1935)) i jest uważana za jeden z najwspanialszych albumów wszech czasów. Uskrzydleni sukcesem poprzedniej płyty, Queen skupili się na najbardziej wartościowych pomysłach, które pojawiły się na poprzednich dwóch albumach. Wybrana Piosenką Tysiąclecia jest jedyną w historii, która dwa razy w sezonie Świąt Bożego Narodzenia docierała do 1 miejsca na listach przebojów, za każdym razem rozchodząc się w milionie egzemplarzy. To właśnie do „Bohemian Rhapsody” Queen stworzył pierwszy oficjalny wideoklip.  Powód jego powstania był prozaiczny.
