Grzegorza Ciechowskiego, prezentujemy reedycję debiutanckiej płyty artystki zatytułowanej "It Might Like You".Julia określiła gatunek, w którym powstał jej debiutancki album jako "Classical-Punk" - classical z powodu intencji, punk z powodu wykonania.Płyta powstała w Berlinie z udziałem niemieckich muzyków i polskiego kwartetu smyczkowego. Nagrania wyprodukował Moses Schneider - znany ze współpracy z Beatsteaks i Tocotronic producent, który współtworzył również płytę "June”. Autorka tak wspomina pracę nad "It Might Like You": Udało nam się uchwycić to na czym nam najbardziej zależało, czyli radość grania muzyki. Piosenki były nagrywane na żywo, na tzw. setkę, eksperymentowaliśmy, używaliśmy nietypowych instrumentów jak np. buty albo papier. Wyszła płyta surowa, o punkowej energii, a jednak intymna i ludzka.Nagranie płyty wiąże się z ciekawą historią. Nagrany dzięki wsparciu ludzi z całego świata album Julii Marcell, był pierwszą premierą polskiego artysty w wytwórni Sellaband.com - portalu zbudowanego na nowatorskiej koncepcji fanów inwestujących w muzykę.Płyta "It Might Like You" ukazała się w czerwcu 2009 na terytorium Niemiec, Austrii i Szwajcarii oraz w październiku 2009 w Polsce.Płyta zyskała uznanie słuchaczy i dziennikarzy muzycznych, którzy określali ją m.in. jako "awangardową", "subtelną" i "otwierającą ludziom głowy".Tracklista:1.
