Sir Colin Davis's blazing performance, recorded over three evenings in June 2002, was one of the classical releases of the year.

3go października 2011, nakładem Mystic Production ukzuje się album Julii Marcell po tytułem "June". Jest to płyta, która przynosi wiele zmian względem swojej poprzedniczki "It Might Like You". Na pewno nie jest to już classical punk, nie ma już tej surowości brzmienia, instrumentarium zostało znacząco wzbogacone, zaś same utwory stały się bardziej cielesne, hipnotyczne."Nowa płyta jest kompletnie inna od "It Might Like You" i ta inność zaczyna się już na poziomie sposobu pracy nad nią" mówi Julia. "Tam było na żywo, zagraliśmy, nagraliśmy, zmiksowaliśmy. To był zapis momentu, lekki i malutki, dźwięk umiejscowiony był w bardzo określonej przestrzeni i wszystkie emocje się w niej wydarzały. Nowa płyta stwarza swoją własną przestrzeń. I dlatego powstawała długo i w bólach. Pochylaliśmy się nad każdym szczegółem, każdym brzmieniem, trochę tworzyliśmy taki własny świat dźwięków.Producent Moses Schneider, jego wieloletni współpracownik Ben Lauber (odpowiedzialny na "June" również za sound design) oraz Julia przez kilka miesięcy pracowali nad płytą na dwie zmiany. Później dołączył też Michael Ilbert (The Hives, The Cardigans), który miksując album nadał mu jeszcze więcej głębi i pięknie wydobył jego charakter podkreślając to, co najważniejsze, a ukrywając wszystko, co chce być zauważone dopiero po kilku przesłuchaniach."June" to przede wszystkim płyta o rytmie. Większość piosenek została nagrana z udziałem dwóch perkusistów, doszły też elektroniczne bębny, ale rytm jest tu również podstawą kompozycji, jest w słowach, strukturach piosenek, tworzy konstrukcje z warstw instrumentów i wokali nakładających się na siebie. Wokali, które często same traktowane są jak instrument. "Chciałam uciec od dosłowności, od historii od a do b. Chciałam, aby teksty na tej płycie były bardziej niedopowiedziane, abstrakcyjne, żeby były raczej nastrojem, uczuciem, obrazem."Julia Marcell jest wokalistką, kompozytorką i pianistką. Jej debiutancki album „It Might Like You” uznany został przez dziennikarzy muzycznych za jeden z najlepszych albumów w 2009 r. w Polsce. Z płytą wiąże się ciekawa historia – krążek został nagrany dzięki wsparciu ludzi z całego świata, przy pomocy strony - portalu zbudowanego na nowatorskiej koncepcji fanów inwestujących w muzykę. Płyta, podobnie jak teraz "June", ukazała się również w Niemczech, Austrii i Szwajcarii, a Artystka regularnie koncertuje w tych i innych europejskich krajach.
