Sony Music Entertainment przedstawia kolejne dwa wydawnictwa w unikalnym projekcie wydań singli winylowych zespołu Depeche Mode. Oba zestawy zawierają 12 calowe single winylowe do płyt „Black Celebration” (1986) oraz „Music For The Masses” (1987). Te dwa kluczowe wydawnictwa w kanonie Depeche Mode przesunęły muzyczną misję grupy z industrialnego popu w stronę bardziej mrocznych obszarów muzyki.. W 1986 roku album „Black Celebration” silnie oddziaływał na popkulturę inspirując niezliczoną ilość młodych muzyków do tworzenia własnych zespołów. Wydany rok później album „Music For The Masses” przyspieszył międzynarodowy sukces grupy otwierając jej rynki wielu krajów w tym Stany Zjednoczone. Muzyka Depeche Mode zagościła na całym świecie. Grupa zagrała koncerty w ówczesnym komunistycznym Berlinie Wschodnim, Budapeszcie i Pradze. Koncert w Rose Bowl w Pasadenie zgromadził ponad sześćdziesiąt tysięcy osób a Record Mirror obwołał „Music For The Masses”: „najbardziej udanym i seksownym albumem grupy”. Członkowie Depeche Mode od początku swojej kariery dostrzegli potencjał tego formatu i wykorzystali moc 12-calowego winyla, który pozwolił zespołowi odkryć nowe możliwości brzmienia. Depeche Mode w pełni wykorzystało winylowe single, jako środek prezentacji swojej muzyki. Na każdym z tych albumów znalazły się single , które na trwałe weszły do muzycznego kanonu na całym świecie. Z „Black Celebration” pochodzą utwory: „A Question of Lust” i „Stripped” a z „Music For The Masses”: „Never Let Me Down Again” i „Strangelove” Box „Black Celebration (The 12" Singles)” zawiera cztery oryginalne 12-calowe single z albumu oraz winylową wersję wydanego na kasecie magnetofonowej utworu „A Question of Lust”.  Sony Music Entertainment wydało dwa pierwsze zestawy z serii „Speak & Spell (Singles)” oraz „A Broken Frame (The Singles)”. Druga tura wydań wzbogaciła kolekcję o „Construction Time Again (The 12" Singles)” oraz „Some Great Reward (The 12" Singles)”. W każdym z tych boxów znalazły się 12 calowe single winylowe o audiofilskiej jakości z dźwiękiem pochodzącym z oryginalnych taśm matek. Strona graficzna wydawnictw to ikonografie inspirowane oryginalnymi wydaniami albumów. Okładki singli zawierają oryginalne grafiki. Masses by Frye and Plummer from the Brussels 5557 manuscript. The manuscript Brussels 5557 was probably compiled for the marriage of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, and Margaret of York in July 1468. A number of illuminations, including one at the start of Missa Flos Regalis, develop a theme of chastity and fidelity which accords with the nuptial spirit. However, the music itself belongs to the 1450s or even earlier. These masses are the late-bottled vintage of a style which, in a poem of circa 1440, Martin le Franc refers to as 'la contenance angloise'. They are harmonically rich and fruity, but built to last. The two masses on this recording are complemented by motets by a thiurd English composer, John Bedyngham.

This 2nd volume of the musical biography of Roland de Lassus (5 CD of world premiere recordings) is dedicated to the glory years of his career in Munich as choirmaster of Duke Albrecht V. Glory of the expansion of the chapel, one of the most magnificent in Europe, and glory of the major event of this period, the flamboyant wedding of the heir to the throne in 1568. The works collected here sometimes reflect the function of Kapellmeister (masses and Magnificat, the event celebration), sometimes the free fancy of the composer soon everywhere celebrated as the new Orpheus.
