Seria pt. „Pure Trance” powstała dla tych wielu milionów słuchaczy, którym nie odpowiadają obecne trendy w muzyce. Solarstone stworzył dla nich label i kompilacje, które skupiają się na trance’owych brzmieniach, bez eksperymentów z EDM i muzyką pop.Pierwsza część powstała przy udziale DJ’a Orkidei, drugą współtworzył Giuseppe Ottaviani, przy trzeciej pomagał Bryan Kearney, a wolumin z numerem cztery to efekt kolaboracji z Gaetano Barone, włoskim artystą ukrywającym się pod pseudonimem Gai Barone.Podobnie jak w przypadku wszystkich odsłon, album „Pure Trance. Volume 4” podzielony jest na dwie płyty. Pierwszy krążek przygotował włoski producent, a za drugi odpowiada Richard Mowatt aka Solarstone. Cała kompilacja składa się z 31 utworów, wśród których wiele ekskluzywnych nowości z labela Pure Trance Recordings.
