A jego zespół nagrał najostrzejszą i najmroczniejszą płytę w swojej kilkunastoletniej historii, której słucha się z prawdziwą rozkoszą. 36-letni szwedzki artysta jak zwykle napisał i wyprodukował wszystkie piosenki na płytę Pain. Wpakował w nie największą w historii Pain dawkę agresji, co dziwić nie może, jeśli weźmie się pod uwagę, że Peter jest legendarną postacią sceny deathmetalowej, liderem formacji Hypocrisy. Nie zapomniał rzecz jasna o typowej dla jego łagodniejszego zespołu chwytliwości, piosenek, które mogą śpiewać tłumy na koncertach. Mogą się przy nich z równą radością bawić fani na Wacken Open Air i na Wave-Gotik-Treffen. Sam miał z nimi trochę przejść, ponieważ zawsze na pierwszym miejscu stawiał muzykę. "Dwa razy się rozwodziłem, spotkało mnie masę gówna, ale muzyka i tak jest i będzie dla mnie najważniejsza. Jest ponad wszystko". Ósmy materiał przekonuje, że nie są to puste słowa. Jeśli myśleliście, że "Cynic Paradise" to szczyt możliwości Petera, bardzo, ale to bardzo źle myśleliście. Zaopatrzcie się koniecznie w krążek, bo na jesień 2011 Szwed zapowiada trasę koncertową Pain i jest wielce prawdopodobne, że po raz kolejny zawita do Polski.

Peter Tosh, właściwie Winston Hubert McIntosh (ur. 19 października 1944, zm. 11 września 1987[1]) - jamajski pionier muzyki reggae. Radykalny rastafarianin, znany z bezkompromisowości, jego ostre wypowiedzi skierowane przeciwko politykom (zarówno rządzącym jak i opozycyjnym) były przyczyną licznych szykan, kilkakrotnie został skatowany przez policję. Propagował legalizację popularnej na Jamajce marihuany.
