Po ukończeniu Wydziału Kompozycji i Aranżacji Akademii Muzycznej w Katowicach Stanisław Soyka zadebiutował ze swoim recitalem w 1979 r. w Filharmonii Narodowej w Warszawie. Już wtedy w jego repertuarze były dokonania takich artystów jak: Ray Charles, czy The Beatles. Jego dalsza kariera w latach osiemdziesiątych XX wieku to nie tylko zgłębianie jazzowych inspiracji od gigantów jak: Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, ale również udział w licznych festiwalach i koncertach w kraju i za granicą. Również wśród swoich poszukiwań muzycznych Stanisław Soyka zapisuję kartkę z muzyką rockową. Współpraca z grupami Extra Ball czy Svora, z którą wystąpił na festiwalu w Jarocinie mają niewątpliwy wpływ na dalszy rozwój muzyczny naszego mistrza. Box z płytami „"Soyka...tylko brać. Osiecka znana i nieznana", „Swing Revisited – bonus”. "Soyka...tylko brać. Osiecka znana i nieznana"(2010 r.) album wypełniają piosenki skomponowane przez Stanisława Soykę, Andrzeja Zielińskiego i ks. Franciszka Leśniaka do pomijanych, a nawet nieznanych wierszy Agnieszki Osieckiej. „Swing Revisited - bonus” (2015 r.) tu doszło do muzycznej współpracy Stanisława Soyki ze szwedzko-duńską orkiestrą bigbandową Rogera Berga. Płyta jest podróżą muzyczną do lat 30- i 40-tych XX wieku i modnego ówcześnie swingu.
