Osią projektu jest Msza na Narodzenie Pana Naszego Jezusa Chrystusa Marcina Mielczewskiego, znakomitego kompozytora związanego z dworem Wazów. Kompozycja Mielczewskiego została uzupełniona materiałem zaczerpniętym ze współczesnych mu ksiąg liturgicznych oraz utworami o tematyce bożonarodzeniowej spoza ścisłego kanonu mszy. Artystyczną wartość i historyczną rzetelność nagrania zapewnia zespół śpiewaków i instrumentalistów specjalizujących się w wykonywaniu muzyki dawnej pracujący pod kierownictwem Roberta Pożarskiego.

W latach 70. wygrywali festiwale, koncertowali, nagrywali... i nagle zniknęli. Na swój płytowy debiut i opowiedzenie ich historii musieli czekać cztery dekady. Muzyczna Spółka Akcyjna 1111 to zespół z pogranicza rocka i jazzu działający w połowie lat 70. we Wrocławiu. W pierwszym okresie swojej działalności prezentowali wciągająca, instrumentalną muzykę rockową z elementami psychodelii i jazzu, przypominającą chwilami dokonania m.in. Agitation Free. Potem wciągnęła ich autorska wizja jazz-rocka. Pod przewodnictwem gitarzysty Janusza Konefała w zespole grali m.in. basista Mietek Jurecki (później m.in. Budka Suflera) i perkusista Leszek Chalimoniuk (później Porter Band).
